Data Deletion Request

Last updated September 1, 2026

Phoebe stores almost nothing about you. This page covers what exists, how to remove it yourself, and how to ask us to delete the rest.

What we can delete

The only data held on our servers is your optional online leaderboard record, tied to an anonymous ID:

  • the anonymous authentication account for your installation;
  • your randomly generated handle (e.g. ashen-ridge-37);
  • your furthest level and best completion times.

Ad-related data is held by Google, not us — see "Advertising" below.

Delete on-device data yourself (instant)

All single-player progress, settings, and timers live only on your device. To erase them:

  • iOS: delete the app (offloading is not enough), or use Settings → General → iPhone Storage → Phoebe → Delete App.
  • Android: Settings → Apps → Phoebe → Storage → Clear storage, or uninstall.

Ask us to delete your leaderboard data

  1. Open Phoebe and go to Settings → About. Copy your Anonymous ID.
  2. Submit the form below with that ID.
  3. We delete the matching authentication account and all leaderboard entries within 30 days and confirm by email if you gave one.

If you have already uninstalled the app and cannot retrieve your ID, email tech.rpre@gmail.com with your handle and approximate last-played date and we will do our best to locate it.

Prefer email? Send the same details to tech.rpre@gmail.com.

Advertising data (handled by Google)

Rewarded ads are served by Google AdMob. To delete or reset the advertising identifier used for ads:

  • iOS: Settings → Privacy & Security → Tracking (turn off for Phoebe) and Apple Advertising.
  • Android: Settings → Privacy → Ads → Delete advertising ID.

You can request deletion of ad data held by Google directly through Google's Privacy Policy and privacy controls.
